open day - FRIDAY, 21ST FEBRUARY

FRIDAY, 21ST FEBRUARY

YMCA, Lord Hawke Way, Newark, Notts NG24 4FH

This event is an Academy Wide open day, and therefore open to students interested in any of the sports we offer, including Football, Boxing, Rowing and Netball. 

The event will start with a brief presentation introducing the Academy programme, our coaches, and the benefits of joining us. Following this, students will be enjoy a taster session in their chosen sport. Football and Netball will be at the YMCA, whilst those interested in the Boxing will go over to Carl Greaves Boxing Gym (Castlegate House, 69, Castlegate, Newark NG24 1BE) and those choosing Rowing, to the Newark Rowing Club, Farndon Road, Newark NG24 4SE. 

Please wear suitable sports clothing, and bring a water bottle. 

There is free parking at the YMCA, and a cafe on site. 

Ideally we encourage a parent or guardian to join students, however, you are welcome to be dropped off if this is not possible. 

We kindly ask that you reply to confirm if you are attending, and which sport you are interested in.
